#Covid19 Campaign to feed the Poor

We are all feeling the impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic and none of us know exactly how this will play out.

Covid-19( novel coronavirus )has infected more than 8 lakh people worldwide, killing more than 38000+ people. In India alone, the disease has so far caused deaths of 30+ people and infected at least 1200+ people .

Medical experts agree that the only way to control the rapidly spreading disease is to practice social distancing. From last 1 week whole country is under lockdown to break the chain of this virus in India , all states of our country have closed almost every sector and millions of people are working from home to cope up with this pandemic situation.

It’s important to remember that not all can remain in quarantine without their lives being completely upturned. 

The daily wage labor class of our country are a large portion of our population people like Construction site labours, taxi drivers , rickshaw drivers, Factory workers , people selling stuff on signal and many more have come to a situation where they are fighting another battle with hunger , we saw so many labours leaving for their native towns due to work lockdown and no running income.

Lets come together and take an oath that we will fight this battle of their hunger and Covid19 together. We at Me The Change are trying to feed as many possible families every day by providing them the basic food items like rice, pulses , oil ,masala and salt .

Here at Me The Change, we are particularly concerned about the impact this is having on the people who rely on their daily income to survive.

Our volunteers are making sure that who ever contacts us don't sleep empty stomach. But we are falling short of volunteers, if you want to help us feed the needy please volunteer for our cause or atleast share this story so that someone else can join us for this cause and we can fight this battle of hunger together.
